It’s been two months and Eminem just won’t let up. The boy is still going strong at No. 1 on the Billboard charts with his latest offering, Recovery, as he just spent his seventh week in the top spot and has moved an astounding (for this climate) 2.2 mil so far. We love Em, so we’ve been listening to the album quite a bit since it first dropped and we’ve found a ton of memorably dope lines—but we caught some head scratchers, too. So, in his honor, we’ve brought our recurring 360 magazine column online. Don’t stress, Em, we all get confused sometimes.

“Walk around the party without a care, like a body without a head/Looking like a zombie from Night of the Living Dead.” —Eminem, “W.T.P.” (Recovery, 2010)
Though decapitated zombies sound cool in theory, the walking corpses in Night of The Living Dead all had heads. In fact, the main way to kill a zombie in NOTLD is by disabling its brain, so obviously they couldn’t “live” without heads.

“What’s the saying? Where there’s thunder there’s lightning/And they say that it never strikes twice in the same place/Then how the fuck have I been hit six times/In three different locations/On four separate occasions?” —Eminem, “Won’t Back Down” (Recovery, 2010)
That saying is actually a myth. According to WeatherImagery.com, lighting often strikes the same place twice. For example, the Empire State Building in New York City is reportedly struck by lightning around 25 times a year.

“Grab the scissors and saws and/Cut out your livers, gizzards, and balls.” —Eminem, “On Fire” (Recovery, 2010)
Although gizzards are found in certain reptiles, certain fish, and all birds, human beings don’t have gizzards. It’s anatomy 101.

“Saliva’s like sulfuric acid in your hand/It’ll eat through anything, melt the ass off Iron Man/Turn him into plastic.” —Eminem, “On Fire” (Recovery, 2010)
Mixing sulfuric acid and iron is not how you make plastic. Most modern day plastic is made from petrochemicals like crude oil and natural gas. And we all know Marshall has got some mean spit to him, but Iron Man’s armor was specifically made to resist acid. —Insanul Ahmed
