MC Lyte has always made it her duty to not only speak about making a change in the black community, but also taking action to implement that change. Last month, the veteran MC teamed up with Common for her inspirational single "Dear John," which serves as the anthem for her Educate Our Men Scholarship. The Brooklyn native is back to deliver a high-energy record about staying on your grind and collecting that paper in "Ball" featuring Lil Mama and AV.

In the visuals for "Ball," MC Lyte is being interviewed on a Shanghai news station before she breaks out into her own world to express herself the best way she knows how: rapping. Both songs are expected to be on MC Lyte's forthcoming album expected for release in the first quarter of 2015.
